Job Summary

We are actively seeking an experienced OR RNFA with strong robotic surgery experience to support a busy Level 1 Trauma surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive Da Vinci robotic surgery experience across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Provide comprehensive perioperative patient care
• Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and sterile field
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control standards
• Participate in on-call rotation based on unit requirements
• Support robotic procedures across multiple specialties

Mandatory Requirements

• Active RN License – New York License ONLY
• CNOR Certification required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Da Vinci Robotic Surgery experience required in:
  • Robotic Urology
  • Robotic GYN
  • Robotic Colorectal
  • Robotic Surgical Oncology (Whipples, Gastrectomies, Hernias, etc.)
  • Robotic Thoracic
  • Robotic General Surgery (Gall Bladders, Appendectomies)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience preferred in a Level 1 Trauma setting

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Strong robotic surgical background
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
