Perioperative Nurse Manager
# of beds 35 in total over 5 units
Required Certifications BLS ACLS PALS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Units under the manager's purview include: Pre-Assessment Testing (PAT), Ambulatory Observation Unit (AOU/Preoperative), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU/Phase I recovery), Procedure Care Unit (PCU/Phase II recovery, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and GI recovery), and Endoscopy. These departments collectively serve both inpatient and outpatient populations.
