Job Details
Seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for the Transitional Surgical Unit. Candidates must have recent EPIC experience and at least 2 years of specialty experience — no exceptions.
- Shift: 12-hour Nights
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3
- Unit Size: 6–10 Beds
- Charting System: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Float Requirement: None
- Interview Process: Auto Offer
- Schedule Restrictions:
- Maximum 3 days RTO
- No block scheduling
Common Patient Diagnoses
- Hemorrhagic & ischemic strokes
- Seizures
- Brain tumors
- CNS infections
Required Skills & Procedures
- Lumbar puncture care
- Management of lumbar drains
- External ventricular device management
Submission Requirements
Please submit the following:
- Active Delaware or Compact RN License
- RN License Number & Expiration Date
- Certifications with expiration dates
- Full SSN, DOB, and address
- All RTO included at submission (post-submission requests will not be approved)
Scheduling & Weekend Requirements
- Every other weekend required
- Every 3rd holiday required
Overtime Policy
- No overtime shifts permitted for travel RNs
- Incidental overtime is not approved
- Meal breaks are required and must be taken during scheduled times
