• Department: Operating Room
• Setting: Acute Care / Community Hospital 

👩‍⚕️ Position Details

• Specialty: Operating Room RN
• Shift: Days | 5x8s
• Hours/Week: 40
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (based on department needs)
• On-Call: Required
• Floating: May float to other units within scope 

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in the OR
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with surgical procedures and ensure sterile/aseptic technique
• Provide patient education and support pre- and post-procedure
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives 

✅ Requirements

• Education: ASN required (BSN preferred)
• Experience: Previous OR RN experience preferred
• Licensure: Active RN license (MT or Compact) 

📜 Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS / PALS / NRP – As applicable to unit
