Description
RN Surgery (General OR)
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery (General OR)
Start Date: 06/22/2026
Shift: Days | 4x10s
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Zanesville (43701)
EMR: Epic
License Requirement: Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License Required
Requirements
- Active BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience required
- Experience with Robotic, Neuro, and Orthopedic procedures preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the General OR setting
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure safe patient care
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic EMR
- Adhere to all hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols
