Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. NO block scheduling.
• Weekends & Holidays: Every other weekend and holiday required. (Holiday expectation: Must work either Christmas Eve OR Christmas Day, AND either New Year's Eve OR New Year's Day).
• Work Week: Saturday – Friday
• Charting System: Meditech
• Local Travelers: Accepted (no rate difference)

Requirements & Experience

• Clinical Skills: Must be proficient in both Labor & Delivery and Mom & Baby (Postpartum).
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and Fetal Monitoring (Advanced or Intermediate accepted).
  • Facility Note: BLS certifications expire exactly 2 years from the date issued, not at the end of the month.

Important Compliance & Facility Information

• Strict Clearance: Absolutely no compliance items can be pending at the start date.
• PA Fingerprinting (Urgent): Travelers must complete PA Fingerprints at an IdentiGO site as soon as possible. Locations can be sparse, so travel may be required to reach the nearest site.
  • Background Note: If a background check has a hit, FBI results are not instant and take 7-10 business days by mail. You can provide an alternate mailing address or drive to the location to retrieve results to prevent delays.
• Scrubs: Any color is permitted.
• Housing Leads: Airbnb, Bed & Breakfasts, and hotels are recommended. Please reach out for our internal list of additional housing options!
