***Respiratory Skills REQUIRED: Nasal Cannula & Non-invasive airway management
***Professional Topics and Skills REQUIRED: Isolation Precautions/PPE

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Fully surgical unit with occasional medical overflow. Surgical focus is orthopedics and joints, most common diagnoses include total knee replacement, total hip replacement, spinal fusions, and some women's overflow (including hysterectomies).

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Frequent wound vacs and drains

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC REQUIRED, SBAR
