• Number of beds: 12
• Patient population: Adult, Geriatric
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Equipment: GE monitors B450, B650
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a progressive care/intermediate care unit
• Care for patients with diagnoses typical of PCU/Step-Down units
• Work in a fully accredited acute care hospital with multiple service lines including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women’s care, and emergency medicine

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• No specific weekend or call requirements noted
• Orientation schedule available throughout the year
