Description
📍 Assignment Details
- Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
💰 Bonus
- $1,000 completion bonus for an 8‑week contract
- Must have no more than 2 call‑outs
- No NCNS (no‑call/no‑show) or bonus will be voided
✅ Requirements
- Active RN license
- Utilization Management experience required
- Ability to start ASAP
Duties-
- Conducted utilization review to determine medical necessity using evidence‑based guidelines
- Performed concurrent, retrospective, and continued stay reviews
- Reviewed admissions and authorizations to ensure appropriate level of care
- Managed appeals and denials in collaboration with physicians and payers
- Applied InterQual and Milliman criteria to support utilization decisions
- Ensured compliance with CMS, Medicare, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinated with interdisciplinary teams to support safe and timely care delivery
- Documented UM activities accurately within the electronic medical record
