Description
Required Certifications & Licensure
- BLS – AHA ONLY
- ACLS – AHA ONLY
- No pending licenses or certifications allowed
- All required licenses/certs must be active at time of submission
- No license or background hits – no exceptions
Candidate Requirements
- Current CVOR experience required
- Must be a strong, independent OR Circulator
- Must have experience with:
- Cardio Thoracic Surgery
- Bypass Surgery
- Coronary Artery Bypass procedures
- Must also be familiar with other service lines including:
- General
- GYN
- Urology
- ENT
- Ortho
- Neuro
- Robotics
- Plastics
(Candidates do not need expert-level experience but should independently circulate most cases.)
Role Details
- RNs will handle a wide range of surgical cases:
- Routine
- Urgent
- Trauma procedures
- Responsibilities include:
- Pre-operative care
- Post-operative care
Important Notes
- MUST HAVE CARDIO THORACIC EXPERIENCE
- CVOR cases will be intermittent, not daily
- Required call is only for CVOR cases, not general OR call
