Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse Lead in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA. This leadership-focused role is ideal for a strong ICU RN with supervisory experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting clinical staff and collaborating with physicians and leadership teams.
The Nurse Lead will provide unit-based leadership, oversee daily operations, ensure patient safety standards, and help drive quality patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and clinical oversight within the ICU unit
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers, Directors, Physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supervise nursing and ancillary staff using sound clinical judgment
- Ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care and safety standards
- Support staff development and operational efficiency
- Promote positive patient experiences and quality improvement initiatives
