Description

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Assignment

Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital, 80 beds
Start Date: May 1, 2024
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily daytime hours

Job Description

Replacement for permanent staff in an LTAC facility
May be required to float/travel to a nearby facility within the same system
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Protouch and Casamba Smart
Dress code: Ceil Blue scrub colors
Ample onsite parking available

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, including experience within the last year
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS)
Experience conducting Passy-Muir Valve (PMV) assessments

Additional Information

This is a travel position
Facility is compact license eligible
