Description
Surgical Technician – CVOR
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hrs/weeks 2x12s + 2x8s; days
Call Requirements:
- Weeknight call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend day/night call required
Preferred Experience:
- Strong CVOR/open heart experience required
- CABG procedures
- Aortic & mitral valve surgeries
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Endovascular cases
- CPB cannulation
- Cardioplegia
- Pacers/defibs
- IABP, LVAD & Impella insertion
- Complex vascular cases (endo & open)
Common Procedures:
- Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Valve replacements
- Heart transplants
- Aortic artery repairs
- Vascular bypass
- Endarterectomies
- Endovascular cardiac surgeries
