Description
Registered Nurse - Radiation Oncology
Shift: 4x10s days, Monday through Friday, start times are variable between 0600 and 0830 depending on patient volume. Major holidays off
Types of Cases Preferred: BMT, infusion, PCU, radiation oncology
Years of experience REQ: 1 year of hem/onc inpatient or outpatient experience, AND 4 years as an RN
Weekend REQ: No, unless making up for beam downtime
National Certs REQ: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
Is on-call REQ? No
Special Requirements:
- CA RN license
- 1 year of pediatric hem/onc inpatient or outpatient experience AND 4 years as an RN
- Central line and IV start experience
- Experience in radiation therapy and/or sedation
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- APHON preferred
- CPHON or CPON preferred
