Registered Nurse (RN) – SSSU/PACU

Location: Clarkston, WA 99403

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Day shift (option of 4x10s or 5x8s)

EMR System: Meditech

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-op Clinic, and support hospital needs for conscious sedation in special procedures.
• Perform thorough nursing assessments, including peri-operative education and care.
• Monitor patients for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Float across outpatient services as needed, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document care accurately in Meditech EMR.

🔹 Qualifications

• Current RN license (Washington State or compact license).
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU/SSSU experience preferred.
• Strong skills in pre-op and post-op patient management.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (must be current).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
