Description

Position: Pharmacist
Start Date: Asap
Duration: 26 weeks (ongoing potential)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends or holidays

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

Provide pharmaceutical care through review, dispensing, and monitoring of inpatient and outpatient medications
Prepare IV admixtures in accordance with safety and accuracy standards
Deliver drug information to providers, patients, and care teams
Conduct patient and family counseling on medication usage, side effects, and adherence
Supervise pharmacy aides/technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and compliance
Participate in performance improvement activities at both pharmacy and facility levels

Types of Cases / Procedures:

Inpatient and outpatient medication management
IV medication preparation and administration
Patient education and medication counseling
Medication therapy monitoring and optimization

Locals accepted at an hourly rate available upon request
