Description
Travel Surgical Technologist – OR
Location: Marysville, CA 95901
Shift: Variable Day Shift
Schedule: 12-hour shifts between 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for an Operating Room assignment. The ideal candidate must have strong Orthopedic and major Vascular surgery experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instruments
- Assist surgeons during orthopedic and vascular procedures
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment
- Anticipate surgical team needs during procedures
- Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency procedures
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology required
- Recent acute care OR experience required
- Strong Orthopedic and Major Vascular experience required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- CST certification through NBSTSA or AST preferred
