Job Title: Social Work Case Management Manager – Travel Assignment
 

Shift:
8-Hour Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Times: 0800–1630 (occasional 0700 start times)
 

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Social Work Case Management Manager for a travel assignment supporting a hospital-based Case Management/Social Work department. This is a leadership role requiring strong supervisory and operational management experience within acute care case management.

Candidates without prior manager, leadership, or supervisory experience will not be considered.
 

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Social Work experience
• Previous leadership/supervisory/management experience required
• Acute care hospital case management experience required
• Strong discharge planning experience required
• Behavioral health/psych-only backgrounds will not qualify

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Support staff with complex patient cases
• Assist with discharge planning oversight
• Coordinate department staffing and scheduling
• Participate in onboarding and staff orientation
• Support staff development and education
• Assist with hiring, performance management, and disciplinary processes
• Anticipate departmental operational needs
• Work independently with minimal training after orientation

Required Credentials:

• MSW required
• LICSW required
• Active Washington State license required
• Certification in Case Management preferred

Required Systems Experience:

• Epic EMR experience required
• UKG experience preferred
• Workday experience preferred

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Department Support:
The manager will work closely with:

• Director
• Team Leads
• Registered Nurses
• Social Workers
