Description
RN – Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Location: Aberdeen, WA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Shift Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; 36 hours/week
Requirements:
- Critical care experience in a hospital setting required
- Current Washington RN license or Compact RN license required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Proof of suicide prevention training required for Compact license holders
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critical care patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Monitor ventilators, cardiac monitors, oxygen pumps, and other specialized equipment
- Interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic tests
- Assist physicians during examinations and treatments
- Respond to emergency and life-saving situations
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medications
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

- Holiday coverage required
- EMR system: Meditech
- Level III Trauma facility
