🏥 Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

✅ Basic Requirements

• Graduate of CAAHEP or ASCP/SCP program (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred – biology, anatomy, physiology, or related)
• 2+ years Cath Lab experience required
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS (required)
  • AHA ACLS (required)
  • PALS (if required by contract)
  • Current CPR
• Licensure:
  • ARRT (required)
  • Kentucky (KY) license required
  • Will accept candidates willing to apply immediately after offer
• TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray if needed)
• Must meet all federal/state/local requirements
• Must be 18+ years old

📊 Position Details

• Role: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
• Openings: 3
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday
  • 1 rotating weekday off each week
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 22, 2026

⏱️ Call Requirements

• 8–15 call days per month
• 1 weekend every 3 weeks
• Must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI cases

🏥 Lab & Workload

• 2 Cath Labs + EP Lab rotation
• 8–10 procedures per day
• 6–8 STEMI cases per month
• Call team: 2 RNs + 1 Rad Tech

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Table panning
• Scrubbing cardiac procedures (diagnostic + interventional)
• Assist with devices:
  • Shockwave
  • Balloon Pump
  • Impella
  • EKOS
  • Penumbra
  • ACIST injector
• Device implants:
  • Pacemakers (single, dual, Bi-V)
  • ICDs
• Peripheral procedures
• Assist with EP procedures (ablations) – training available

⭐ Preferred Experience

• EP (Electrophysiology) experience
• Familiar with:
  • Radial & groin access

📝 Additional Notes

• Scrubs + lead apron provided
• Must live 75+ miles away (no local candidates)
• Orientation held bi-weekly
• Must accept/confirm assignment within 24 hours
• Do NOT submit to multiple jobs at once
• Driver’s license required with submission
