Description

Travel RN – ICU / LTAC


Contract Details

  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP (Exact date TBD)
  • Shift: Days (3x12-hour shifts)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:5 (Ratios lean closer to 1:4 for higher acuity/critical care patient assignments)
  • Unit Details: 40-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) split across two floors. The level of care is consistent with an ICU stepdown (80% of patients admit directly from an ICU once stable).

Requirements & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required. Candidates with prior Select Specialty, Kindred, or other LTACH experience are an excellent fit and highly preferred!
  • Clinical Skills: Must be highly proficient and comfortable managing vents, trachs, simple drips (gtts), feeding tubes, and chest tubes.
  • Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to Stepdown/PCU.

Important Facility Information

  • Orientation: There is only one orientation shift provided. Candidates must be clinically competent, highly adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running.
