Schedule Notes: 36 hours per week, Day & Night Shifts Available

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a leading healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill or premature newborns in a fast-paced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to neonates requiring intensive medical attention
• Monitor and assess newborn patients’ conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and monitor specialized NICU equipment including ventilators and incubators
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate and support parents and family members regarding patient care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Respond effectively to emergency situations while ensuring patient safety and quality care standards

Requirements:

• Active CA RN License
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required
