Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech)

$1,150/week • Phoenixville, PA   Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our sleep medicine team for a part‑time, overnight schedule. This role is ideal for a tech who is confident working independently, comfortable with in‑lab sleep studies, and skilled in patient education and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Patient History Review — verify study orders and confirm clinical information
• Protocol Compliance — follow all sleep center standards for in‑lab testing
• Patient Education — provide age‑appropriate instructions and support
• Equipment Setup — select, calibrate, and prepare all testing equipment
• Electrode & Sensor Application — apply sensors according to AASM/BRPT standards
• PAP Mask Fitting — perform routine fitting and desensitization
• Therapeutic Interventions — apply PAP therapy, supplemental oxygen, and safety measures
• Data Scoring & Reporting — analyze sleep study data and prepare reports
• EMR Navigation — document accurately in EMR and sleep software platforms

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s Degree highly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
• Minimum 6 months experience in a clinical sleep lab

Required Credentials

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) — required

Compensation

• $1,150 per week
• Part‑time, 24‑hour weekly schedule
