Description

Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: Hamlin, TX
Schedule: 8-Hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Weekend Requirement: None
On-Call Requirement: None

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility programs.
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safety techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support resident care plans.
Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional practice standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience required.
Active Texas PTA License or Compact License required.
Experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation settings preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
