Description

Minimum Experience: 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years

Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, & WA state license (must be in hand or have proof of application 6+ weeks ago)

Skills required: critical care ventilator management; use of NIV(CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC); respiratory disease management of the pediatric population which would include the delivery of medications and all respiratory therapeutic interventions. ABG (GEM); prefer one year or more in Peds Cardiac ICU, caring for patients from 1 week-18 years who have undergone a range of open-heart procedures (example – PDA repair through TOF repair)

Consider 1st time traveler: yes, with 5 years of experience and 2 recent PICU

Patient Types: pediatric, moderate size Cystic Fibrosis and chronic trach/vent population; ECMO program; use of specialized gases Nitric Oxide and Heliox, Cardiac Program

EMR: EPIC (required)

Floating: ER, MedSurg, Oncology, & PICU

Scheduling: every other weekend rotation

No call

Scrub Color: any, just no maroon or spice color

Shifts: Days = 0700 – 1930, Nights = 1900 - 0730

153 total bed Level II trauma center with Level IV NICU
