Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Progressive Care (PCU/Stepdown) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, individualized care at a premier, non-profit hospital system in downstate Illinois. In this role, you will be expected to provide clinical leadership to the patient care team on the night shift.

• Experience: Must have a minimum of 3+ years of recent PCU experience (no exceptions).
• Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) RN License verified via Nursys must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Radius Restriction: Strictly enforces a 50-mile permanent address radius rule. Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered. Valid Driver's License must match the submitted permanent address.
• Former Employee Policy: Direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible.
• Submission Packet Checklists: * Full work history.
  • Specialty-specific PCU Skills Checklist completed within the last 1 year.
  • Two (2) completed Supervisory Reference Forms showing clear employment dates.
  • Active AHA BLS card.
• Certifications: AHA ACLS is required (must be active or obtained within 30 days of the contract start date).

• EMR: Cerner.
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs.
• Orientation Detail: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation/onboarding time applies.
