Description
Travel Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – General Radiography
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Shift: Evenings (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper radiation protection practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Assist with workflow management and departmental operations as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent military training.
- Active ARRT (R) Certification required.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH) required.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- BLS Certification preferred.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
