Medical Laboratory Tech in Cambridge, MA
Pay: $58-$62/Hr.
Shift: (11:15pm - 7:15am) Nights
13 weeks contract.
LOCAL CANDIDATE NEEDED.
Qualifications: Minimum education: BS MT required Registration/certification as MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent NCA, AMT or HEW highly preferable at time of hire and BLS AHA.
Requirements:
• 3+ Years of recent matching specialty experience
• Current AHA BLS Required
• EPIC experience preferred/required
• Must be local to facility
• 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references required
• Skills Checklist matching specialty required
• Driver’s license address must match demographics
• RTO must be submitted at time of submission.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform and evaluate Quality Control
• Perform testing in Chemistry & Diagnostic Immunology
• Participate in proficiency testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic instrument issues
• Process laboratory specimens and perform data entry using Meditech
• Perform STAT and routine testing accurately and timely
• Assist with development of new methods and cost evaluations
• Train new staff on department procedures and policies
• Participate in department meetings and workflow improvement initiatives
