Description
Travel Radiation Therapist – Day Shift | 26-Week Contract
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a long-term travel assignment working in a Photon therapy environment. This role is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately while collaborating closely with Radiation Oncologists and the oncology care team.
Shift Details
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours Available
- 26-Week Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer ionizing radiation treatments per physician prescription
- Operate radiation oncology equipment including:
- CT Simulator
- Linear Accelerator
- QA Dosimeters
- Diode Systems
- Oncology computer systems
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to departmental protocols and safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient treatment documentation
- Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncology leadership and clinical staff
Requirements
- ARRT Certification required
- Current CPR Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Elekta and Mosaiq experience preferred
- Experience working in Photon therapy preferred

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Oncology experience in a fast-paced clinical environment preferred
