Description
Job Overview
The PT will provide outpatient and inpatient physical therapy services to patients of all ages. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and treating patients within Alaska PT scope of practice
- Developing and modifying individualized treatment plans
- Using evidence-based clinical practices
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation
- Collaborating with physicians, healthcare staff, and community members
- Delivering culturally sensitive care to diverse populations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Alaska PT license in good standing or eligibility through FSBPT/student PT pathway
- Current BLS certification
- Hospital-based experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently in both hospital and remote village settings
