Registered Nurse – Med Surg
Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit & Facility Overview
- Medical Surgical unit with 44 beds
- Level II Trauma center
- Patient population: all ages
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
- Call requirement: As needed; must arrive within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
- Float requirements: As needed
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Medical Surgical (Med Surg)

- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours: 24
- Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear or hoodies

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
- Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler
