Description
Pride Health is hiring a Vascular/Echo Ultrasound Technologist client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Details:
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $48/hr- $53/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound and echocardiography examinations, including carotid, arterial, venous, renal, and aortic studies
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate exam documentation
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions throughout the exam
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions as needed
- Utilize RIS and PACS systems for scheduling, documentation, image management, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterile technique, and patient safety standards
- Maintain exam room supplies and complete required equipment cleaning logs
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and healthcare staff to support quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- RDCS or RCS certification
- RVT or RVS certification
- Current BCLS certification
