Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer II (Echo Tech) to join a growing Echocardiography team. This role performs a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress echocardiography studies to assist in diagnosing and assessing cardiac abnormalities.

This position offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
 

Schedule

• Full-Time Days
• Hours of operation: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must be flexible to work extended hours as needed
• On-call rotation required, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to report on-site within 1 hour while on call
• Occasional travel (1–2 times per month) to local continuing care facilities to perform portable echocardiography studies

Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain examination procedures.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and completeness.
• Evaluate patient history and clinical information to determine examination objectives.
• Document findings and communicate results appropriately.
• Ensure equipment readiness and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in call coverage and support departmental operations as needed.

Qualifications

✅ Graduate of an accredited Technical, Allied Health, or Associate Degree program

✅ Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials required at time of hire:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS, OR
• RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI

✅ BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire

✅ Experience in echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound procedures preferred
 

Preferred Skills

⭐ TTE, TEE, and Stress Echo experience

⭐ Strong cardiac imaging knowledge

⭐ Excellent patient care and communication skills

⭐ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
