Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist II to join a busy Breast Imaging department. The ideal candidate will perform both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring high-quality imaging standards.

Experience with DEXA scans is required, and knowledge of stereotactic breast biopsies is preferred.
 

Schedule

• Full-Time Days
• Monday – Friday
• Occasional Half-Day Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Perform DEXA examinations.
• Ensure high-quality images while adhering to established imaging protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide education regarding exams.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist with breast imaging procedures and support stereotactic biopsy services as needed.
• Maintain imaging equipment and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

✅ Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

✅ Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience

✅ Current Texas MRT License

✅ ARRT-R (Radiography) Certification

✅ ARRT-M (Mammography) Certification

✅ BLS Certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
 

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience with stereotactic breast biopsies

⭐ Experience performing DEXA scans

⭐ Strong breast imaging and patient care skills

⭐ Excellent communication and attention to detail
