Position: Physical Therapist - Home Health
Location: Tampa, FL 33614
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Note: Local pay range for local therapists is $55/hour – $57/hour.

Job Overview:

A Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) provides rehabilitation services to patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence after illness, injury, or surgery. The role focuses on functional recovery in a real-life environment and requires strong clinical decision-making, patient education, and independent work in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities at home.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and pain management techniques.
• Assist patients in improving movement, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety precautions, and injury prevention.

Required Qualifications:

• Florida Physical Therapist License
• Must have a valid drivers license and car to make home visits.
• 2 years of experience in Home Health Physical therapy
• BLS/CPR
