Position: RN Labor & Delivery

• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Shift: NOC (12x4) 48hrs per week (7pm-7am)
  • Blocking of shifts are preferred
  • Rotating weekends & holidays
• Location: Iron Mountain, MI
• Contract Weeks: 26

• Exp Req: 2 years L&D/Postpartum/Nursery

# L&D Beds: LDRP 8 

# OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: NONE 

# Triage beds 2 # Postpartum beds: LDRP 8 

# Births per Month: 25  

Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: YES 

Req Certs: (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS + NRP 

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 Nursery keep only 35 weeks or greater 

Experience 'Must have' skills LDRP unit must have skills: 2yrs exp L&D/ Postpartum/Nursery 

Are RNs required to titrate drips: Pitocin only 

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor takes an assignment: YES

Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? NO

OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? NO

Anesthesia in house 24/7? NO

RT Equipment: (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) YES

Are there Tele/Monitor Techs? RNs req to read strips? What brand tele monitors? NO

EFM System: OBIX 

Shifts & Scheduling: Block scheduling will work with traveler schedule and group days together. 

Weekend Req: YES 

Holiday Req: YES

Is there a call or standby req? NO

Floating Req? NO

Scrub Color/Dress code: May use own scrubs or we will supply grey OR scrubs
