Job Title- Mammography Tech
Duretion-13 week contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Flemington, NJ 08822
No on-call duties or weekend work required

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role is crucial in assisting physicians with early detection and diagnosis of breast abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper positioning and imaging techniques to produce optimal images for radiologist interpretation.
• Educate patients on the procedure, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Accurately document patient history and maintain records following HIPAA and facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements for quality assurance and control.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
• NJ State licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mammography.
• Strong knowledge of mammographic positioning and imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Client equipment is preferred.
