Title: Registered Nurse – Outpatient Surgery
Location: Atlanta, GA - 30309
Assignment Length: 14 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: 06/15/2026
Shift: Days – 4x10-Hour (06:45 AM – 05:15 PM)
Position Overview
MedCadre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery for a 14-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong OR circulating experience in an outpatient surgical setting and be comfortable working with a variety of surgical specialties and advanced surgical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures.
- Perform circulating nurse duties in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient status and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies.
- Assist with patient preparation, intraoperative care, and postoperative transitions.
- Float within facility and scope of practice as required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Georgia RN License or Compact RN License.
- Minimum 1 year of Outpatient Surgery or OR Circulator experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Strong circulating experience in the operating room.
- First-time travelers accepted.
Preferred:
- Experience in:
- Orthopedic Sports Medicine
- Oculoplastics
- Rectal Procedures
- Pain Management Procedures
- Familiarity with advanced surgical technology and equipment.
- PALS Certification.
Schedule & Call Requirements
- Day Shift: 4x10s (06:45 AM – 05:15 PM)
- Call coverage approximately 1–2 days per week for late cases.
