Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Richmond, VA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Schedule: 4x10s (40 Hours/Week) with Call Requirements
Compensation
- W2 Pay Rate: $29.80/hr
- Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,659.00/week
- Weekly Gross Pay (40 Hours): $2,851.00/week
Position Overview
CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced interventional cardiac environment and are comfortable handling complex cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support complex PCI procedures
- Care for patients requiring Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump support
- Assist with peripheral vascular procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Recent experience in an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Ability to take call and report to the hospital within 30 minutes when called back
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume Cath Lab
- Experience with complex cardiac interventions and advanced cardiovascular devices
Facility & Unit Details
- 3 Cardiac Cath Labs
- Approximately 10–11 staff members per day
- Equipment: GE X-ray / MacLab
- EMR: Meditech
- No floating required
Call Requirements
- Weekday and weekend call rotation required
- Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of callback
