Pediatric Audiologist
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiological services for infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and manage hearing and balance disorders while collaborating with physicians, speech-language pathologists, educators, and families to support optimal communication outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pediatric hearing evaluations for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Perform diagnostic testing including:
- Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR)
- Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE)
- Tympanometry
- Behavioral Audiometry
- Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA)
- Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA)
- Diagnose hearing loss and auditory disorders.
- Fit, program, verify, and manage pediatric hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Participate in cochlear implant evaluations, mapping, and follow-up care.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding hearing loss and treatment options.
- Collaborate with ENT physicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educators, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Participate in newborn hearing screening and early intervention programs as needed.
