Hours/week: 37.5 hrs

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in an acute care setting. The technician will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and assist with medication distribution, inventory management, medication preparation, and quality assurance activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Fill, package, and deliver medications accurately and timely.
Manage and maintain Pyxis inventory, including controlled substances.
Prepare medications and IV compounds under pharmacist supervision.
Assist with pharmacy inventory control, stocking, and medication replenishment.
Perform medication deliveries to patient care units and return unused medications.
Conduct nursing unit inspections and monitor medication storage conditions.
Remove expired or damaged medications and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Repackage unit-dose medications using pharmacy packaging equipment and software.
Maintain accurate records and follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Min 2 years of Pharmacy Tech experience required.
CPhT Pharmacy Tech license.
BLS
