Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion / Ambulatory Care
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Days

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have strong infusion nursing experience and be comfortable administering IV therapies, chemotherapy, and blood products in an ambulatory care setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer therapeutic IV infusions, chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products
Monitor patients during and after infusions for adverse reactions and complications
Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions
Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to all oncology, infusion, and patient safety protocols

Requirements:

Active Colorado RN License in good standing
Minimum of 3 years of recent RN Infusion experience
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
Strong clinical assessment, IV therapy, and patient education skills
