Description
Travel ED RN – DCH Health System | Alabama
• 36 or 48 hrs/wk available
• Every Other Weekend
• Holidays as Required
OT Rate: $55
Weekly Gross Wages & Per Diems: $2636 on 48 hrs
Requirements:
• Alabama RN License or Compact License (No Temporary Licenses)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• SECURE (completed onsite)
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
Experience:
• 2 years ED experience preferred
• Will consider 18 months total experience if candidate has:
- 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
- Experience under highest level of licensure
Unit Highlights:
• Must float to other units and DCH facilities as needed
• 54-bed Emergency Department
• State-designated Level III Trauma Center
• Level II Stroke Center
• 60,000+ annual ED visits
• All ages treated (pediatric through geriatric)
• Staffing ratios:
- Trauma/Critical Patients: 1:1
- General ED Patients: 1:3–4
• 24/7 physician, NP, RN, and support staff coverage

• 36 or 48-hour contracts available

• Strong trauma, stroke, and high-acuity ED experience preferred
