Description

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift travel assignment. Join one of Georgia's leading healthcare systems and provide respiratory care across a diverse patient population in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Assignment Details

Start Date: June 15, 2026
End Date: September 12, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
On-Call: None
Positions: 1

Position Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments
Manage ventilators and airway support equipment
Perform emergency respiratory interventions and respond to code situations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Provide care for adult, pediatric, and critical care patients as assigned

Requirements

Experience

✅ Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience

✅ Acute care hospital experience preferred

Licensure Requirements

Active Georgia Respiratory Therapist License
Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the Georgia Composite Medical Board
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential

Certifications Required

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NBRC – RRT
