Description
Day and Night shift available
Experience/ Skill Set: Must have at least 1 year ICU experience to ensure the candidate has experience with/is comfortable with vents, trachs, simple gtts, feeding tubes, chest tubes, etc. With only 1 orientation shift, we need the candidate clinically competent to run the ground running.
Facility Info: 40-bed LTACH is a single unit divided between two floors. Our level of care is consistent with ICU stepdown (80% of our patients admit directly from an ICU once stable).
• Floating: float to Stepdown/PCU. Any candidate who has worked at a Select Specialty, Kindred, or other LTACH experience would be a good fit.
• Ratios: 4-5 :1. Depending on experience with critical care background and if they are given more critical care patients ratios would be more consistent with 4:1.
