Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patients with moderate to high acuity
- Monitor and assess patients with cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring patient safety and quality care
Position Requirements
- Role: Registered Nurse (PCU)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
- Minimum 2 years of total RN experience
- Certifications:
- Active Virginia RN License
- BLS (AHA required)
- ACLS (AHA required)
Assignment Details
- Location: Norfolk, VA and surrounding areas
- Schedule: Per Diem
- Shift Options:
- 12-hour Day Shifts (AM)
- 12-hour Night Shifts (PM)
