Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Wrangell, AK | 13-Week Contract

Shift: Nights
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts

Wrangell, Alaska is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced clinical environment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
 

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Respond to emergent and critical patient situations.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN License in good standing.
• Education required to obtain a valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Prior Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
