📅 Ongoing Locum Opportunity
💰 $105–$115/hr
🌙 Night Shifts Only (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Virginia Mason Medical Center is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine APPs (NP/PA) to provide ongoing emergency department coverage in downtown Seattle.
Position Highlights
✅ High-volume ongoing need (70+ shifts Oct–Feb)
✅ Approximately 16 shifts per month
✅ Epic EMR
✅ Collaborative physician support
✅ Medium to high-acuity patient population
✅ Emergency Department setting only
Clinical Responsibilities
• Evaluate, treat, and manage emergency department patients
• Coordinate care with physicians, consultants, and hospital teams
• Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice
• Participate in patient handoffs and quality initiatives
Requirements
✔ Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
✔ Active WA License (or ability to obtain)
✔ ACLS, NRP & DEA required
✔ Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
✔ No disciplinary actions on license
Additional Information
• Average patients per day: 8–14
• Admissions per day: 8–14
• Mostly medical cases with low trauma volume
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
