Description

Local Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Night Shift

Assignment Details

Night Shift: 11:15 PM – 7:15 AM
5x8 Schedule
40 Hours Guaranteed Weekly
13-Week Contract
Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field
MT or MLS Certification (ASCP preferred)
Equivalent certifications accepted (NCA, AMT, or HEW)
Minimum 3+ years of recent Medical Technologist experience
Current AHA BLS Certification
Experience with EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

Perform and evaluate quality control procedures
Conduct Chemistry and Diagnostic Immunology testing
Process and analyze laboratory specimens
Perform STAT and routine testing accurately and efficiently
Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
Participate in proficiency testing and quality improvement initiatives
Assist with training and departmental workflow optimization
Provide on-call coverage as needed
