Description
Must have: BLS, Neurovascular assessment, completion of required documentation for Disease Specific Certification programs for hip, knee, spine, and shoulder surgical patients. Ability to turn, ambulation post-surgical patients.
Advanced skills needed: Decision making for postoperative patients with high/low blood pressure and pulse, chest pain, COPD, diabetes
Procedures performed on unit: Bladder scan, adjustment of slings, cervical collars
Certifications Required: BLS
